Script:
Interviewer = I
M= Michael
I: Our guest today is Michael Marksman, who has just written a fascinating book, Movie Facts for Movie Fans. You're a movie fan, Michael... so, what's your favourite movie?

M: Hmm. That's a tough question. I can't really answer that.

I: You know what? I can't answer that question either! OK. Let me be more specific: What's your favourite action movie?

M: That's easy! The original Star Wars movie. I think it's one of the best action movies ever made.

I: Really? I do, too. I loved it!

M: A lot of people love that movie. But guess what the biggest money-making movie of all times is?

I: Was it Star Wars? Or maybe E.T.?

M: No, it was Titanic. It made over 600 million dollars, more than any other film.

I: Really, and what about the most expensive movie ever made?

M: Titanic, again... at least, to date. It was both the most expensive movie to make and the one that made the most money. I was really surprised.

I: Me, too! Unbelievable! Michael, one of the most fascinating parts of your book was about mistakes that are not caught.

M: Yeah, it's impossible to make a perfect movie. (many mistakes are made)

I: O.K. Like what? Could you give as an example?

M: Sure. Did you know that in one scene of the LOTR, there's a car in the field in the distance?

I: You're kidding. No, I didn't know that, and neither did a lot of the LOTR fans, I suspect. And in your book you talk about watches - it seems a lot of actors and extras forget to take off their watches in movies.

M: Yes, that's true. In fact, the biggest mistake you'll see - if you watch very carefully - is that actors are wearing watches in scenes when they shouldn't.

I: Wow! The editors must be very upset when they see it later.

M: They are definitely upset... and so are the directors! In Titanic for example, when people were jumping into life boats, one of them was wearing a digital watch!

I: A digital watch? That's amazing! ...
